As a student at The Kalyani CBSE School, I have always believed that academics are important. Scoring good marks and understanding concepts definitely matter. However, over time, I have realized that communication and confidence are just as crucial in shaping our overall personality.

In today’s world, it is not enough to simply know the right answers. We must also express our ideas clearly and confidently. Good communication helps us participate in class, share our thoughts, and work effectively in teams. Confidence gives us the courage to speak up, even when we are unsure. I have experienced this during class presentations and group discussions, where confidence often matters as much as knowledge.

One thing I appreciate about the teaching approach at our school is that it focuses on holistic development. The teaching methodology encourages students to participate actively rather than just listen. Activities such as debates, presentations, and interactive sessions help us build communication skills and confidence in a natural way.

This development starts early. In pre-primary schools in Pune, children are encouraged to speak, perform, and express themselves freely. By the time students reach primary school in Pune, they already have a strong foundation in communication. This continues in the CBSE secondary education , where these skills become essential.
